The iconic Capital Pride Parade will transform into the iconic WorldPride Parade, emblematic of the historic Pride movement, on Saturday, June 7.
This beloved tradition honors our history and acknowledges the evolution of the LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in Washington, DC, while respecting the origins and importance of taking to the streets in our fight for equality.
International March on Washington + Rally
Join thousands of community members, allies, and activists as we gather and march in the footsteps of Bayard Rustin, Marian Anderson, and countless others who have demanded freedom.
Participants from every corner of the nation and globe will gather at the iconic steps of the Lincoln Memorial for a lineup of inspirational speakers and performances, including international and local lawmakers, activists, and artists, who will share their personal stories and highlight the urgent need for comprehensive protections for LGBTQ+ individuals everywhere.
The rally will culminate with a march towards the US Capitol Building, ending with a global celebration at the WorldPride DC Street Festival.
Attendees are encouraged to bring signs/banners and to wear their pride.
All ages are welcome, but individuals under 18 are required to have an adult chaperone.
