LGBT Voice Tanzania is set to host a Unity March on June 29th, showcasing unwavering support and solidarity for the LGBTQ+ community.
The event aims to bring together individuals from diverse backgrounds to advocate for equality and acceptance in Tanzania.

Water for the Unity March participants
This significant event will kick off from the familiar Jwangwani grounds and will culminate at the office of the Commission for Human Rights and Good Governance.
The core intention of this gathering is to assemble an expected crowd of over 100 individuals hailing from different walks of life. A special emphasis is placed on the involvement of LGBTQ youth, though the event is open to everyone who stands in solidarity with the movement.
The march promises to be a kaleidoscope of colors and messages, with large Rainbow Flags flying high, numerous small and paper flags fluttering in the wind, and 100 T-shirts, each emblazoned with unique messages advocating for equality and acceptance.
Additionally, four 3-meter banners will be displayed, further amplifying the LGBTQ community's pleas for equality. The air will be filled with the resonating sound of hand-held loudspeakers, echoing music that evokes unity and broadcasting messages of equality and solidarity.
Upon reaching the office of the Commissioner for Human Rights and Good Governance, a powerful speech will be delivered, advocating for equal rights and dignified treatment of all LGBTQ individuals. After making their heartfelt pleas and voices heard, the participants will disperse in a peaceful and orderly fashion.
TANZANIA PRIDE BEACH PARTY
Following the march, an exclusive Tanzania Pride Beach Party is planned specifically for LGBTQ individuals. This gathering will provide a haven of joy and celebration, fostering camaraderie among the attendees.
The event planners are hopeful that this public display of pride will encourage more acceptance and highlight the importance of embracing LGBTQ individuals with open hearts and minds.
They believe that this event will serve as a powerful reminder that every individual, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, deserves respect and equal treatment.
